Stofix has passed the BRE fire performance test in accordance with BS8414-2 and BR135:2013 Annex B classification

STOFIX UK are delighted to announce that our Stofix ventilated brick slip cladding system has passed the Building Research Establishment – BRE – fire performance test for application to a light gauge steel framing system in accordance with BS8414-2 and BR135:2013 Annex B classification.

We are even more delighted to share the official BRE first test video, in full, with no editing which was shot in-house by the BRE themselves during the test. This highlights the impressive performance of Stofix under these strict test conditions and further reiterates that if you are designing a brick facade; you really should be using Stofix.

 

Most suppliers of brick slip cladding systems won’t show you their full length fire testing video’s, we will.

IMPORTANT NOTE: NOT A SINGLE BRICK SLIP DETACHED DURING THE ENTIRE 60 MINUTES OF THE BS8414-2 FIRE TEST.
At the time of writing this, we are told Stofix is the only brick slip cladding system in the UK to achieve this.
